Welcome to Brick. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Brick platform at bricks.cash and services provided by Corner Pocket Holdings LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"). By using our Service, you agree to these Terms.
Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Brick, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of a business, you represent that you have authority to bind that business to these Terms.
Description of Service
Brick is a construction project payment management platform that provides:

- •Project and milestone management tools
- •Payment processing between homeowners, contractors, and subcontractors
- •Estimate creation and approval workflows
- •Communication tools for project participants
User Accounts
Account Registration
To use certain features, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to update this information as necessary.
Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
Account Types
Contractors
Licensed professionals who create projects and manage construction work
Homeowners
Property owners who fund projects and approve work
Subcontractors
Trade professionals assigned to specific project phases
Escrow Services
Fund Holding
Brick holds project funds on behalf of homeowners through our third-party payment processors. These funds are released to contractors and subcontractors according to project milestones and approval workflows.
Important Disclosures About Your Funds
| Brick is not a bank | We are a technology platform that facilitates payments between project participants. |
| Not FDIC insured | Money held in your Brick account is not insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation or any other government agency. |
| Third-party processors | Your funds are held by our payment processing partners (such as Stripe) subject to their terms of service. |
| No guarantee of funds | In the event of insolvency, bankruptcy, acquisition, or cessation of business operations by Brick or our payment processors, your funds may be at risk and we cannot guarantee their return. |
| You assume the risk | By funding a project through Brick, you acknowledge and accept these risks. |
Fund Releases
Funds are released based on:
- •Completion of defined project milestones
- •Homeowner approval of completed work
- •Contractor-initiated payments to subcontractors
Disputes
In the event of a dispute regarding fund release, Brick may hold funds until the dispute is resolved. We reserve the right to mediate disputes but are not obligated to do so.
Business Continuity
In the event Brick ceases operations, is acquired, or undergoes a change of control, we will make reasonable efforts to return unfunded project balances to homeowners or transfer obligations to a successor entity. However, we make no guarantees regarding the timing or completeness of such returns, and any such efforts are subject to applicable law and the claims of creditors.
Fees and Payments
Brick charges fees for certain services, including payment processing. Current fees are displayed at the time of transaction. We reserve the right to modify fees with 30 days notice.
User Responsibilities
Contractors agree to:
- •Maintain valid licenses and insurance as required by law
- •Provide accurate estimates and project information
- •Complete work according to agreed specifications
- •Communicate honestly with homeowners and subcontractors
Homeowners agree to:
- •Fund projects as agreed in approved estimates
- •Review and approve/reject completed work in a timely manner
- •Communicate honestly with contractors
All users agree not to:
- ✕Use the Service for illegal purposes
- ✕Misrepresent identity or qualifications
- ✕Circumvent the platform to avoid fees
- ✕Interfere with the operation of the Service
- ✕Upload malicious code or content
Intellectual Property
The Brick platform, including its design, features, and content, is owned by Corner Pocket Holdings LLC and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our platform without permission.
You retain ownership of content you upload (estimates, project details, communications) but grant us a license to use this content to provide the Service.
Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:
- ⚠Brick is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
- ⚠We are not liable for the quality of construction work performed
- ⚠We are not liable for disputes between users
- ⚠Our liability is limited to the fees you paid to us in the past 12 months
- ⚠We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Corner Pocket Holdings LLC, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms or for any reason with notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases, but provisions regarding liability, indemnification, and disputes survive.
If you have funds in escrow at termination, we will work to release funds according to project agreements or applicable law.
Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service will be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. You waive the right to participate in class actions.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect.
